The human body is glorious in its imperfections. Plastic surgery simply adjusts proportion, eases comfort or restores function.

Ms Catherine Milroy BM BCh MA FRCS FRCS (Plas) is a consultant plastic surgeon specialising in general plastic surgery and paediatric plastic surgery. She believes in a sensitive and empathic approach to discussing options in a no pressure environment. 

 

Ms Milroy obtained her medical degree at Oxford University and was awarded BM BCH followed by MA.

She was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. Ms Milroy subsequently specialised in Plastic Surgery at Mount Vernon Hospital and East Grinstead Hospital as well as at the Royal Marsden which are centres of excellence for Plastic surgery in London. She pursued a research degree as a RAFT fellow in skin cancer. 

 

She then travelled extensively to centres of excellence in Harvard, New York and Taiwan to work with some of the most respected plastic surgeons in the world in order to gain more experience.

Ms Milroy has particular interests in breast and chest surgery as well as ear and eyelid reconstruction. She regularly works with the lymphedema team at St Georges and Parkside hospital in patients with limb and genital problems.

She currently works at the New Victoria Hospital, Parkside Hospital, St Anthony's and St George’s Hospital NHS Trust. 

 

Ms Milroy is one of London’s most respected female plastic surgeons, and can provide an all female team if required.
